I originally trained as a chiropractor, it seemed the obvious career choice for me as so many of my family were. As my experience grew, I became acutely aware of the short comings of what I did. I was not satisfied with using a one size fits all approach, and was keen to learn as much as I could across the whole physical medicine world.
My focus is functional medicine, something that may not mean much to you, but it is an approach that starts first by looking at how you are creating your aches and pains and then getting you moving as pain free as quickly as possible. A common sense, evidence informed approach to providing effective treatment for not only back pain but all joint related aches and pains.
Over the last few years I have studied under some of the most prominent and highly regarded physical and biomechanical experts. From Professor Stuart McGill, Dr Craig Liebenson, Dr Charlie Weingroff and Joel Proskewitz to name just a few. My goal is to learn from the best.
I am also a member of the British Medical Acupuncture Society.
